Experience your massage on the beach, in your room, or on your patio/deck. Where ever you choose, our massage therapists will come to you. Available Deep Tissue or relaxation with a combo of Swedish massage and Mayan therapies. Reservations required. If a massage on the beach is part of making your beach vacation complete, contact us in advance to reserve.
Diving
Dive trips leave by boat from Mahahual including local dives and Banco Chinchorro. We have a system of coordination with several dive shops where they inform us of diving conditions the morning of a scheduled dive. More. . .

The Maya Ruins of Chacchoben are a little over 1 hour away from Mayan Beach Garden. Spectacular ruins such as Kohunlich, Oxtankah and Dzibanche are 2:15 hours away.

Snorkeling
World class snorkeling is available at Punta Placer via a 10 minute walk north of Mayan Beach Garden. Snorkeling is from shore and flippers, mask and goggles are available for rent. Marcia often takes intermediate snorkelers to the reef at around 2:30 in the afternoon .
Cooking Classes
Learn the basics of working with masa by taking our most popular course- tortilla 101. In the class we start making tortillas and move on to empanadas, Huaraches and sopes. Classes start at 11:00 AM and what you make you get to eat. A delicious way to learn the basics of Mexican cooking .
